This item was very well packaged, but when we got it open we were very disappointed with the quality... It's very cheaply made from a very soft wood. The surface is very glossy causing very noticable scratches from even an ipod being moved along it. The drawers are cheaply made and fall out very easily because there is only one central runner on the bottom of each drawer - Unlike some of the other questionable reviews which state they glide in and out smoothly. I'm still going to keep it, but i'm going to think seriously about ordering furniture on Amazon in the future. If I do decide to get another piece of furniture... I'll go for a trusted name, not something made in Malaysia from a company I've never heard of.
