I read all the reviews before I bought the stool set, and decided to take my chances. I wish I had not. The item arrived in 2 days with my prime membership and that was the only nice thing about this item. The quality for both chairs were very poor to the extent that I needed to drill extra holes to get alignment. None of the side supports were fitting right, all the angles were incorrect. As a result of these poor fits, the chairs didn't feel sturdy at all. I have assembled multiple dinner chairs before (different brands) and in none I had anything close this - it was a terrible experience. My suggestion, if you still want to buy these stools, use a clamp, and wood glue for sides to make it more sturdy. In the middle of assembly, I thought about sending these back, however, the box was so large that I was hesitant about the logistic of the shipment. After the assembly, I sat on the stools, and didn't find them comfortable either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these stools in million years.
