THIS IS A FABULOUS IRONING BOARD. I had to sell the ironing board I had before I moved and was reluctant to do so since it was my mothers and it was a heavy one which did not wobble and move around. I was happy to see the reviews on this one. I purchased it when I moved and let it sit for awhile before using it When I unwrapped it and used it for the first time, what a surprise, this is very sturdy and an overall great ironing board, nice and wide and not at all wobbly. You will be surprised. I am very pleased with it.

Wanted to add after six months of use that this is really a great board, holding up super !

Cold Steel 59KSET Kitchen Classics Review

I have been a fan of cold steel knives for a long time. I have been carrying the same recon 1 knife for the last 10 years. I got married 5 years ago and wanted my wife to have a good set of kitchen cutlery. I have found the cold steel knives to be very good kitchen knives. They hold an edge well and maintaining the edge is a fairly simple chore. Now for the bad part. It pains me to say this but Cold Steel could have a 5 star product here but for one thing. The kraton handles do not stand up to extended use. The paring knife handle has started to crumble as well as the handle on the chef's knife. Cold Steel has good steel. But they really need to rethink their use of rubber on the handles. I give this set of knives 3 stars because the steel is good and easily maintainable. But good steel with a bad handle is a real disappointment. I have carefully scraped the rubber off the handles and exposed a hard plastic handle underneath. The thickness is much smaller now and the handles are still useful. Spending your hard earned dollars for a set of knives that should last a lifetime, just to have them last a few years is a real bummer. I am still a Cold Steel fan, just not a fan of this particular item. I am currently thinking of replacing the Cold Steel kitchen classic set with Henckles or maybe Boker.

Greenland Home Coral Blue King 3-Piece Quilt Set Review

I bought this quilt and opened the package. Nice colors more ecru than white. Backing was flawed with holes and huge thread pulls (runs). Amazon was great returned it and sent me a new one. The replacement was just as bad. The sham it looks like they ran out of material so just added a piece of cloth putting an extra seam in which was very obvious. The top of the quilt had huge chunks of the blue threads balled up, fuzzy and sewn into the quilt. A beginning home ec class could have done a better job with this quilt. Loved the colors and the abstract seashell motif but the workmanship was less than appealing. One flawed quilt is an anamoly. Two is poor craftsmanship. Returned second one and requested my money back.
