I was very pleased when this mattress was delivered. There is no plastic-smells, no funny vinyl covering. It has two sides-a toddler and an infant. It can be wiped off easily in the event of leaks. I did a lot of research on what crib mattress would be the best and I was torn between this and the Naturpedic line (I had already purchased a Naturpedic cradle mattress) and ultimately decided on this one because of the big price difference-overall the materials aren't quite as nice as the Naturpedic cradle mattress I got, and I know this one isn't certified organic, but again, I am pleased with it-it is as advertised and again, no off-gassing at all-no funky vinyl or plastic smell and I feel good about having it in our little one's nursery.
