I shopped around for some time looking for a stand that would hold my new HDTV. The retail stores I went to had two choices that I saw. Choice 1 were stands grossly overpriced and choice 2 were stands that were overpriced and cheap quality. I found TV stand searching on the internet painful. Most websites had to many choices, to little information about the stands and very little customer feedback. I admit buying the stand even through Amazon was a gamble.
I have owned this stand for roughly 5 months now. The stand has a manufacturers weight capacity of 250 pounds. My 47" HDTV does not weigh anything near that but I like knowing that it can handle the weight. The unit once assembled is very sturdy and I believe would hold 250 pounds. I would recommend having 2 people available to move the completed unit because it is somewhat heavy and awkward to move alone, however I managed to do it myself.
The stand has plenty of space to hold your TV, cable box, gaming system, odd and ends etc. I don't have a ruler handy but I can tell you that I have more than enough space and clearance on the shelves.
I could go on and on about how this stand is great but I will sum it up. It is a solid stand that has plenty of room and looks awesome. ( I got the black glass) The height from the floor to the top shelf is perfect for viewing my TV. Cable management out the back is adequate. (The picture gives you a good idea what you are working with) I would buy this again and highly recommend this stand.

Bought two. Sent both back. The parts that work are spectacular, but both trees had multiple strands that would not light no matter how much I massaged the units. One had two strands out, the second; five. The tree top stars were both broken from the center pole upon arrival. I believe this caused wire to be broken. Poor packaging was probably a contributing factor. For the price, these are terrible products. I really looked forward to the front yard display. I would never buy from this provider again! Got to add that they were a pain to repack and haul to UPS. Urgently waiting for refund. save yourself a headache. Don't buy.

Overall, it's a great desk, but I had to order three to get one that worked properly. The latch on the metal frame was broken on the first one, and all three had problems w/one of the connectors nailed into the bottom of the wooden top - basically, they were all coming off. The last one also had this problem, but it wasn't too bad.

This is a great desk, but the company needs to work on quality control.

With my induction cooktop, this is a great pot for cooking all kinds of pasta noodles. It is tall enough even for long lasagna noodles, but light weight enough to drain with little effort.It is also relatively easy to clean. (If pasta sticks, I just soak it for a bit and it cleans with little effort.) This is NOT the pot I would choose for making a soup or stew. The traditional Le Creuset or the Lodge Enameled Cast Iron both work with induction and traditional cook tops, and they are much better for long term braising, simmering, and reduction.

The mattress worked as advertised, and I wasted only a little time
figuring out how to turn on the air pump---it pumps only when
attached. The biggest problem is the "new plastic" smell, which
remained quite obnoxious even after 3 days of airing out the

Durable, Reversible 10' X 14' Premium Grip(TM) Rug Pad for Hard Surfaces and Carpet Review

I recently purchased a nice Karastan wool rug to put over my carpet in my living room. I have placed rugs over carpet before, and have used various types of pads - and, on occasion, no pad at all. This was the nicest rug I have purchased, therefore, I could justify paying a bit more for the pad.

After doing quite a lot of research and reading, I decided to give this pad a shot. I wasn't particularly optimistic, since all the previous pads I had purchased had failed my expectations and I felt I had wasted my money. Today, I have absolutely NO idea where those pads are...I feel CERTAIN they went in the trash a long time ago.

First, I was impressed with the quick delivery. From the time I received the confirmation that the item had shipped, it was on my doorstep within 12 hours! Way, way, WAY faster than I had expected. It arrived in a heavy plastic bag that was in perfect condition.

I rolled it out and placed my rug. A LITTLE easier said than done. To use it properly, you put the rubber side up when using over carpet. The rubber does such a grand job gripping the rug, it makes it a little difficult to position precisely. I did this alone. It would be easier with two people, but a little exercise didn't hurt me!

There was absolutely no odor what-so-ever. The pad did shed one bit, either. No fibers flying around.

Unlike some of the previous reviewers, my pad was cut slightly larger than the 8'x10' I had ordered. It was cut straight. I did have to trim it to fit under my rug. I recommend a good pair of heavy duty shears for the task. Even while cutting, the pad did not shred or shed. I cut it slightly smaller than the rug so it lays flat on the edges so we don't catch our toes or the vacuum cleaner on it. This prevents a trip and fall and the corners from turning up.

Once in place, I am impressed with the feel underfoot. The pad adds some nice depth and a slight softness underfoot. It is not "squishy," but rather firm with a slight give. The pad adds a bit of luxury to the already nice rug.

Now...the clincher...in addition to all the great things above, the thing I love the MOST about this is that, although I have had the rug and pad in place about a month now, and have had absolutely no furniture sitting on it, the carpet has not moved even one tiny bit! I have vacuumed it numerous times, and there is not even the slightest bit of movement to the rug. No little wrinkles. It has remained firmly in place.

I will not make the mistake of wasting my money on another cheapo rug pad. After all, buy 2 of those (and curse them and toss them), and you still have nothing. Pay twice the price the first time and you will save yourself a great amount of frustration in the long run. You'll still have this pad for many years. After all..."
