I bought this in the Twin size for our multi-positional futon which we use as a little sofa most of the time, but also as a cot when company stays over. The mattress was never great, but after three years, it was downright lumpy and misshapen. I wanted a firm topper, and after researching the myriad types of memory foams, I knew I wanted at least a 5# density. Trouble was, the higher that number, the more expensive the foam. Then I saw this topper on sale at $81. Great price! And made in America!

It arrived very quickly and had NO awful odor, which I'd feared after reading reviews on other foam toppers. If you press your nose into it, you obviously can smell the material (and I have a very sensitive nose), but there was zero odor permeating the room even *before* I zipped a decorative canvas cover over it and the mattress.

The size is generously cut, actually measuring a couple inches larger in both directions than what's stated.

The sides of our futon go anywhere from flat for sleeping to fully vertical as armrests. Since we keep them vertical, I was concerned about how well this topper would fold. No problem. It stays put on the mattress and folds right along with it, raising the height of the armrests just a little bit (and, of course, widening them by 2").

So, now our little futon is super comfortable thanks to this firm, high quality topper. I'm glad I found it.
