After searching for a relatively inexpensive desk chair for my home office, I came across these on Wayfair and ultimately bought the gray one from Amazon because of the price. So far, I am completely satisfied with the chair. I should also mention that my five-star review is based on my expectations for a $106 chair. I'd obviously have a different expectations if I paid Herman Miller prices for it.

I was a little nervous based on earlier reviews that said the assembly was difficult and the plastic was cheap, but I decided to give it a try based on a large number of positive reviews from other sites (Amazon only has two at the moment).

Good news: I had no issues whatsoever with the assembly. It involves using a hex wrench (included) to screw in 12 screws to attach the back, arm rests and a metal assembly to the cushion, then putting in a few casters and finally dropping the chair into the base. Simple - it might have taken me 20 minutes total.

Also, Several people have asked about the plastic - it is durable, hard white plastic. There are a few seams that they could have sanded off but otherwise it doesn't look bad.

Finally, one potential issue is that the only moveable feature is the height - the chair goes up and down. The backrest and arm rests do not move. The good news is that I am fine with the height and angle of both, so it's not an issue for me. However, I could see this being a problem for others so make sure you are comfortable making that tradeoff.
