Ignore the bad reviews that complain about it being "cheap." First of all, the product description clearly states that it is made of composite wood and secondly, for the price of this dresser you are not going to receive a high quality, solid wood piece of furniture. I don't think it's fair to give a bad review because you wanted something more than what it is. For what it is, it's a nice dresser. It's looks exactly like the picture, it's good color, and it is sturdy. Before purchasing this, I went to the local furniture store and checked out a few dressers for this same price and this one is much better. These drawers slide smoothly, the dresser is in great condition (no dinks or scratches), and it is not wobbly or flimsy. The company (South Shore) is excellent to work with. One of the panels for the matching night stand I purchased was damaged so I called South Shore and they sent me an undamaged piece.
