I purchased this for a last min. Thanksgiving dinner at my new home. I have not been able to pick out my formal china and a great expense and investment so I'm taking my time. So I decided to see if this could be a temporary solution till I made up my mind and picked out a formal set. Well now I'm thinking I may not have to. The pieces came in perfect I laid out my table with this set and all the guest loved how the China looked never knowing how inexpensive it was. I also would like to note that the tea cups, saucers are small but perfect for an after dinner cup of coffee or tea. These would not be your regular cups to use everyday because they hold so very little in them. I love this set and now am thinking this might be my permanent set.
