Heating tips

When filling the kettle with water, only fill water above the first layer of holes on the interior of the spout (see diagram on box for more information).

The lid did not fit correctly. It wobbled. I checked other amazon reviews of the Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel range and found others have reported the same defect. An even greater number of people have reported that eventually the enamel comes off. This is not what you would expect from a pot which costs $150. Luckily i hadnt used the pot so sent it back for a refund.
