Product Description
The Lismore pattern, first created in 1950 by Mirek Havel, has won-over three generations of collectors. The Lismore Covered Butter is a great addition to the Lismore tableware category. Featuring its fabulous signature facets, the Lismore Covered butter Dish promises to make even the most mundane breakfast memorable. Created to complement all the other Lismore serving pieves, the new covered butter adds a jewel-like luster to the table with diamond cuts surrounding the top surmounted by a "solitare" handle. It promises to refract the morning light long after the toast is buttered and to catch the candlelight at every gracious dinner.Waterford Lismore Covered Butter Review
I know nothing about rating crystal, but I thought faceted crystal would have sharp corners between the facets like a diamond. I thought the glass would be thinner. Nonetheless, I really like it. This daily-use item looks great on our counter top and kitchen table. My criteria was a see-through top with a handle on the lid and nothing made of plastic. You'd think that would be easy to find- try searching for that. It fits a standard 1\4 pound butter stick perfectly. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Waterford Lismore Covered Butter" are high quality item.
