Amazing! Last year I ordered the brown suede couch and 2 chair covers and continue to be amazed at this product. First of all they look pretty good. Really an economical upgrade for sure. They look decent, I've actually had friends ask if I bought new furniture. Sometimes they do slip out of place but usually a quick tuck and it's good as new. The website has some tool to hold it in place but it's not that big of a deal for me.

Additionally there were so many unexpected benefits. I have a toddler who loves to jump on the couch with his shoes, spill food, you name it and the covers hold up remarkably well. The covers are very durable and best of all- washable! We've washed them many many times and they haven't faded and still look almost new. Another unexpected benefit is that my 2 cats who used to scratch all my furniture for years don't seem to care for the covers and now don't scratch them at all. This is no small feat as over the years, I've tried clipping their nails, using double sided tape, sprays, etc. but nothing worked until I found these slipcovers.

I just ordered another chair cover and can't wait till it gets here. Worth every single penny.

We currently share our bedroom with our baby and this makes things much easier for us. The space below is big enough to hold three storage baskets per shelf. for the design it is sturdy EXCEPT the wheels at the bottom. The wheels do not lock in, they slide in and you are somehow suppose to slide them in at the same time holding them up. They are also the cheep crappy kind of wheels that break quickly under pressure. I just dont use the damn things. Short of that its perfect.

LG 8,000 BTU Window-Mounted Air Conditioner with Remote Control (115 volts) - LW8012ER Review

This is my fourth LG air conditioner. All the other three units are still working well after four years of use, which is the reason I purchased this unit; my expectations were high and the reviews were good. My complaints:

1. The fan for this unit is loud on setting two and three. This fan noise may be a problem for people who want to use this air conditioner in their bedroom. Many other people on Amazon have made a similar comment about loud fan noise.

2. Build quality -- cheap. Moving the plastic louvers that direct the air up or down is very difficult. In another review Dave says he found it almost impossible to move these louvers up and down; I agree with Dave. The plastic part that opens and shuts the unit to allow for or close off outside air is so flimsy that I am afraid to use it. The plastic levers that direct left/right air flow are as cheaply made as the open and shut lever. The louvers that are attached to the sides of the unit to allow for snug fit in the window are as cheap as everything else in the unit and were difficult to fit properly to the open window, as others have also noted.

First update: As expected, this airconditioner works well to quickly cool my office space. When I put the LG on the room was 82 degrees. Within half an hour the temperature had dropped to a comfortable 76 degrees. The compressor for the airconditioner makes very little noise, but as mentioned, the fan is loud, especially on high speed.

Other reviewers have mentioned that they received their units damaged. I recommend that these people contact Amazon customer service. I have always had good luck getting a replacement for equipment damaged in transit. Also, some reviewers have talked about problems with installation of this machine. This A/C fits neatly in the window. Unfortunately, as mentioned, the louvers providing the seal keeping warm air out are cheap and difficult to adjust properly. Extra insulation material is needed to keep warm air out of the room.

Second update: I have added a star to this review. After six weeks of daily use this air conditioner works as advertised under difficult conditions. The build quality of my three other LG air conditioners is better than this machine being reviewed and they run more quietly. Now that the machine is installed in the window, I don't touch any of the louvers that adjust and direct the flow of air so it doesn't matter now that they are cheap or difficult to use. As noted, this air conditioner may be loud on high fan speed, but it does cool well, which is exactly what it is supposed to do. If it is anything like my three other LG air conditioners, it will work reliably for a long time.

Third update: I have not mentioned the remote control on this AC, which works well and does control many functions of the machine. On fan speed one the AC is quiet enough for a bedroom. Lastly, the energy saver does work well to reduce the amount of electricity the AC uses. I turn it on when I leave the office and it effectively maintains the set temperature of the room. This LG A/C is a good machine as many other reviewers agree.

The quality of this item was disappointing. Originally listed at $500 and discounted to just over $100, this sort of pricing would imply a higher quality fireplace accessory. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A google search of this item offers up retailers selling it at approximately $85.

The frame of the piece was warped and difficult to assemble due to having been warped. I managed to do so after working on it for nearly an hour. Because the frame is uneven a shim is required to keep it still. Additionally, the directions included with this item were for a different version of this item.

While it looks nice, I'm guessing a better quality piece of furniture can be found elsewhere.

Echo Sardinia King Duvet Cover Review

I purchased this duvet cover after reading mostly good reviews of it. However, it did not live up to the expectations I had after reading the reviews.

The duvet cover is made of a 200-300 thread count thickness of fabric. The design is not nearly as bright and dynamic as it appears in the picture. What seems white in the picture is actually a light grey, and the design often blurrs together.

It's a Made in China product, but will suffice if you are not too picky, and aren't looking for designer quality in your duvet cover. I'm more concerned with the duvet inside, and spent the money on that.

Other note, the duvet cover is too large for the size of duvet they say. I have around 10" too long on the one end. In addition, the cover buttons closed on one side (concealed buttons), but there are no buttons internally or on the top that would hold the duvet in place. As a consequence, the duvet slides all over the place and bunches at the bottom of the bed. You will need to shake out your duvet every day if you want it to lay smooth.
