This is a cool way of measuring weather where I am. It is easy to use, with a large display and it gives me useful measurements like Heat Index. When I am hiking the Compass lets me take a bearing on thinks so that I can navigate to them even if they are not visible. Temperature is also accurate, not like some other meters because the handle keeps my hand heat away from the unit. The jack-knife cover is easy to use, it protects the unit and I can't lose it because it is attached. I have used other wind meters over the years and this is real value for the money.
