I think the "simplehuman" brand hit it's stride with the fingerprint-proof finish. In that respect, this is a very sharp trash can. Nice brushed stainless finish, easy to keep clean, nice size.

And it's got some other perks (these guys ~really~ think about all these issues) - in addition to the "artificial intelligence", it's got odor control, a place to keep surplus trash bags, won't scratch your floor, and several other features. I never knew a trash can could have so many features.

But I didn't find the auto-sensor to behave consistently, which I expect for this price.

I was hoping this would help keep my kitties out of the trash (they are twins and exact opposites - one is happy-go-lucky, but the other is Einstein with OCD, and can break into anything). Sure enough, he got it open, and could also knock it over. That's when I learned that while it may be fingerprint-proof, it's not dent-proof.

I also must say I was slightly insulted that it didn't come with batteries -or- an AC adapter. How much could it possibly add to the manufacturing cost to include an AC adapter? A couple dollars? Seems they should include things like this for their premium product line (here is the link for the correct AC Adapter for anyone interested: simplehuman Power Adapter).

One other note - this can is designed to fit the Superhuman brand trash bags, but if you're not concerned about an exact fit, you can find some at the store that work ok.

So yeah, this is very cool and space-age. But I expect more consistent performance & an AC adapter for the price.

In terms of a cat-proof trash can - someone please email me if these guys invent a retinal-scan activated trash can!

Twin Size 6 Inch Thick, Comfort Select 5.5 Visco Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Bed Review

I got two of these mattresses in twin size for a children's bunk bed set. I was expecting a large foam mattress without any other frills and that is what I got. It did come with a cover that appears to be water resistant but not waterproof. For the price ($120 per mattress) I have not found anything better on the market. Even the $500 mattresses with maybe some more cosmetic design elements do not compare to the comfort of this mattress and given that I am going to be putting a sheet on the mattress I could really care less what print and stitching patterns a mattress has. The mattress comes in a 2" by 2" by 2" box folded up and took less than a week to air out to dissipate the factory smell. The airing out process means it will take a few days before it is ready for use.

At the end of the day, this is a mattress, its more comfortable than the mattress I had as a small child and more comfortable than anything I have found at anything resembling a reasonable price. I would not have my kid sleep on something I was not willing to sleep on and I can say I am willing to sleep on this mattress, its better than my $1000 mattress that is now several years old in terms of comfort.

I am not a chef and not the greatest cook, but I purchased these pans becasue I was tired of replacing cheap pans all the time. I love these pans. I have had them for about a month and I use them daily. They still look like brand new. They wash up wonderfully. They fry evenly and they are durable. There is no food or cooking spray cooked onto the handles or outsides of the pans. The handles of the pans and lids stay cool to the touch and the lids and handles are not attached by screws so they won't come loose or fall off. For the price I would say these are a great buy and I would buy them again.

I did a lot of searching for a mid price file cabinet that would hold legal files and finally chose this one over the metal options.

I'm very happy with this product. It was very easy to put together (although the black and white line drawings made it hard to tell which side should be facing where and I ended up putting the bottom piece upside down but only because I didn't think it through). The pieces fit perfectly and the box is packed well so nothing was damaged in shipping. No one will mistake this for real wood but the finish quality seems durable and it looks nice overall. Drawers glide smoothly and casters seem to be good quality, but I haven't moved it around much.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a legal file cabinet and will be getting another myself.

My husband and I are newlyweds and just starting off. If you have ever been in our situation, you know what it is like trying to fill your first home with furniture. We have a ton of mismatched items given to us by parents and family friends. I purchased two of these to cover our really tacky, yet still functional and comfortable sofas. One of them was green, blue and burgundy plaid and the other is red with yellow and blue flowers. ICK! I LOVE these couch covers. They are stretchy so as long as you choose the design to match your couch (T-Cushions, etc) then they are very forgiving as to the exact size of the couch. The 2-part design eliminates the problem of having to tuck it back in to the crease where the cushions meet. I have had them on my couch for over a month and have not once had to readjust them. This particular cover does give off the look of leather from across the room. It feels like micro suede, very soft. The color in the picture IS in fact the color that you will get. All in all, it was WAY cheaper to buy two couch covers and make my two existing couches match than it would have been to have them reupholstered or to replace them with new ones. Are they perfect? No. If you look closely you can tell that they are couch covers. HOWEVER.. they are a world above any couch cover I have ever owned and my living room looks great! I highly recommend!
